My Story
My journey with healing began long before I fully understood what it meant. At twelve years old, while living in Somalia, I became very ill. My family took me to countless doctors, but none could find anything physically wrong with me. I was extremely sick - my skin turned yellow, I couldn’t stand upright, and I hadn’t eaten in weeks.
Fearful for my life, my grandmother, a deeply intuitive woman, secretly took me to see a medicine woman who lived in a small shack tucked away in the back streets of town. Medicine women are deeply feared in Somalia, believed to be witches with the power to cast spells on people.
In that shack, I underwent a burning ceremony, where I received small burns on my crown chakra, solar plexus, and both wrists. Within hours, I was completely restored to health, with no trace of illness left.
Even at the age of twelve, I knew that what had happened that day was a miracle. It sparked a deep curiosity within me about the body’s wisdom and the ancient healing practices that guide us back to it. Today, I recognise that it was an early initiation into this work, facilitated by my ancestors - the seed that turned me into a lifelong student of the art and science of healing.
Over the years, I’ve studied many traditional modalities. Years of being a devoted student of Kundalini Yoga eventually led to a series of Kundalini awakenings, which changed everything. In this expanded state, I began receiving clear insights, leading to big shifts in my life. My healing abilities developed naturally, and I was blessed with the ability to transmit Kundalini energy to others without formal training. This intense (sometimes unwanted) side effect of my awakening became a clear sign that supporting others on their healing journeys was my path.
This led me to formal study, merging science with traditional and mystical healing. I became a certified trauma-informed somatic bodywork therapist trained in understanding the science of the body and mind. I also became a certified Kundalini Activation Facilitator, learning how to guide and transmit the powerful energy of Kundalini to others.
Shortly after, I sold almost everything I owned in London and moved with my family (husband and two kids) to the jungle in Costa Rica. It is from here that I now offer this work, with the still presence of nature as my companion.
While certifications are valuable, my work is grounded in intuition and connection with source. I remain a channel for higher wisdom and healing to flow through me, guiding my clients to realign with their most authentic selves.
For me, the deepest healing began when I stopped searching outside myself and turned inward, diving deeply into my own body. I began listening, feeling, and trusting in my body’s innate capacity to restore itself.
This journey inward, honouring the body as a source of wisdom and healing, has been the foundation of my path and the heart of the work I offer to others.
My mission is to empower you to reconnect with your own body’s wisdom and learn how to heal and restore yourself, trusting that the power has always been within you.
I am deeply honoured to hold space for you on this journey.
